We had a really productive morning working along the Ashbrook corridor between Downland and the High Street. We cleared around the trees we planted in previous years and undertook a big litter pick, collecting over twelve bags of rubbish ! It was timely to meet up with our local MK Council street cleaning team who took all the rubbish away with them.
It was really upsetting to find a young hedgehog had died in a crisp packet – people who drop rubbish really need to know what damage their actions cause to wildlife !
